Do I need an ATAR to study a course with Sydney Design School?
No. You don’t need an ATAR or any previous experience to study our career courses, just a genuine passion for interiors.
Can I get a VET Student Loan?
Eligible students can apply for a VET Student Loan to help pay for the Diploma or Advanced Diploma of Interior Design. In 2026 the eligible loan cap is $19,290.

Are these courses accredited?
The Certificate III in Design Fundamentals is nationally accredited by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA). Our career courses are also recognised by the Design Institute of Australia.
Design for a Day is a fun day to give students a taster of what it’s like to study at design school.
